Joanne Arkless

Joanne is in charge of community sessions and co-organizing the Festival of the Future at 1E9, where she also coordinates technology and science-related presentations and writes articles.

Having recently earned her master's degrees in M.Sc. Politics & Technology and M.A. Science and Technology Studies from the Technical University of Munich, Joanne has a keen interest in a diverse range of topics, from offshore wind energy to space exploration. She has studied at the University of Hamburg and Bogazici University in Istanbul, and has gained practical experience at both the Federal Foreign Office in Berlin and the entrepreneurial center UnternehmerTUM in Munich.
